Korea’s shopping festival starts Oct. 29—discount dates vary
Korea Grand Festival runs Oct. 29–Nov. 15. Beef and seafood promotions start earlier; Digital Onnuri vouchers are sold at a 10% discount Nov. 2–6. Check each offer’s dates and conditions before buying.
## The festival starts before some offers do The second Korea Grand Festival brings together government-backed consumer promotions from October 29 to November 15, 2026. Around 40,000 businesses are participating, but products do not all go on sale on the same day or at the same rate.
## Check grocery dates separately Promotions advertise up to 50% off Korean beef from October 28 to November 8 and selected seafood from October 28 to November 29. Offers on kimchi-making ingredients, including cabbage, radish and garlic, run October 29–December 2, with discounts of up to 40%. Participating stores and eligible products vary.
## Appliances: online and store dates can differ The joint government announcement schedules details of major vehicle and appliance promotions for November 1. Separately, LG’s online campaign was reported to begin October 29, while its Best Shop in-store campaign begins November 1. Check the brand’s specific sales channel for dates and conditions.
## Onnuri’s 10% offer starts November 2 Digital Onnuri vouchers will be sold at a 10% discount November 2–6. Additional local-currency benefits depend on each municipality’s schedule and budget. Offers announced for other regions do not automatically apply in Gangnam.
## Four checks before you pay Check eligible products and dates; minimum spending and discount caps; whether coupons and card offers can be combined; and the final price including delivery. Do not simply add discount percentages. Compare with the usual price and buy what you need. Limited-stock or first-come offers may end early.
## Sources and reference date Checked October 28, 2026. Based on the October 27 joint government release and the official festival website, koreagrandfestival.kr.
